ADBnox Privacy Policy

Summary

ADBnox requires no account, contains no ads or analytics/tracking SDKs and sends no data to developer-operated servers.

Data processed on your device

Saved devices (name, IP, port), settings, install history, terminal history and snippets are stored only on your phone.

Information read from devices you connect to over ADB (app lists, logs, battery, files) is only shown on screen and is not stored unless you save it.

VirusTotal (optional)

If you enter a VirusTotal API key, the SHA-256 hashes of APKs you choose are sent to VirusTotal. If you use “Upload and scan”, the file itself is uploaded to VirusTotal. This service is governed by Google/VirusTotal’s own privacy policy.

Web panel

The web interface runs only when you start it, on your local network. Sessions are kept in memory only; the password is stored only as a salted hash.

Permissions

Network and USB permissions are used to connect to devices, notifications to show state and progress, install permission to install on this phone, all-files access (optional) to scan APKs and copy OBB data, usage access (optional) to show app sizes.

Deleting data

Uninstalling the app deletes all local data. Saved devices, history and sessions can also be cleared in the app.
